  • 2 red grapefruits (extract juice, yield about 2 cups)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp Jamaican allspice berries
  • 1/2 cup (118 ml) water
  • 2 tbsps honey (or to taste)


  1. Combine grapefruit juice, cinnamon, allspice, and water in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then strain to discard solids.
  3. Add in honey to taste and serve.
