  • 2 cups fat-free chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
  • 1/2 cup cut green beans (1/2″ pieces)
  • 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
  • 2.8 oz (80 g) cooked chicken breast (diced)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pepper (to taste)


  1. Add basil, parsley, and garlic to the chicken broth and bring to a boil in a sauce pot.
  2. Add in chopped vegetables and cook at medium heat until softened.
  3. Add in the chicken, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. When chicken is heated through, off the heat and serve.
